Introduction
This cookie policy explains how Proactive Approaches Training Limited (company number 15781500, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on proactiveapproaches.co.uk (the “Site”).
This policy is provided in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter information each time you visit.
We also use similar technologies such as browser localStorage and cookieless session hashing. This policy covers all of these technologies.
Categories of cookies we use
We categorise the technologies we use as follows:
Strictly necessary
Required for the Site to function. These cannot be switched off. They are set only in response to actions you take, such as logging in to the admin or trainer portal.
Functional
Improve your experience by remembering choices you have made, such as pre-filling a download form with your details. These are convenience features and do not track you across other sites.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Where possible we use privacy-friendly, cookieless approaches. Where third-party analytics tools set cookies, these are identified in the table below.

Third-party cookies
Some pages on the Site embed content or services provided by third parties. These providers may set their own cookies on your device, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control these cookies.
- Vercel Inc. provides our hosting infrastructure and privacy-friendly analytics. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Calendly LLC provides our embedded scheduling widget. See Calendly's Privacy Policy.
We recommend reading the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with on this Site.
How to manage cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically choose to:
- View what cookies are stored on your device
- Block all or certain types of cookies
- Delete cookies already stored on your device
- Set your browser to notify you before a cookie is stored
Guidance for the most common browsers:
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies (such as our session cookies) will prevent you from logging in to the admin or trainer portal. These cookies are only set on authenticated portal pages and do not affect general browsing.
How to clear browser storage
The pa_guide_lead item is stored in your browser's localStorage rather than in a cookie. To remove it, you can clear your browser's local storage. In most browsers this is available via:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
Alternatively, you can remove the specific item using your browser's developer tools (Application tab > Local Storage > proactiveapproaches.co.uk).
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we will place a notice on the Site. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
